• Cantel Medical (Little Falls, N.J.) reported the appointment of David Rosen as president of Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets. Rosen will join Cantel on Aug. 10, 2015. Rosen spent the past 10 years with Getinge Group, developing their businesses in Europe and Asia Pacific in both established and emerging markets. Most recently, he served as President, Getinge Infection Control Asia Pacific, Hong Kong.

• Cardica (Redwood City, Calif.) reported that Bernard Hausen has informed the board that after more than 15 years leading the company, he will step down as CEO, president and as a member of the board. By request of the company, Hausen has agreed to stay on in his current roles while the board conducts a search for a new CEO as well as to provide a period of time to transition his duties to the new CEO. The transition period should be completed by Dec. 31, 2015.
